A Masters in Marital and Family Therapy + 3000 Hours of Therapy and Supervision = Exam Eligibility!!!!!!!After two years of grad school, four years of obtaining hours and 6 weeks of waiting for the BBS to approve me to take my exams, I got final word on Thursday that I can sit for my first licensing exam whenever I want. - Yes - when I want, which if you asked me in January I was hoping to take my exams in June, seeing how June is in two days - that won't be happening. So I begin my in depth studying this week and will arrive at a testing date that seems fit, but it should be some time this summer.
So if I pass the first exam then I can take the second exam once given the ok, but if I don't pass I have to wait six months to retake - yeah six months. I think that is where my nerves lie. If I don't pass I won't be devastated but I do not want to wait 6 months to retake.
So just keep me in your prayers for this summer as a prep for and take my exam.

Good luck with that. That is awesome. You will do great. You always did good in school. When I took my test to get my Escrow License, I had to take it several times befoe passing. It sucked. But I never gave up, and finally have my license. I have had it several years now, and will always make sure that I have my continuing education credits, so that I never have to take the stinkin' test again. I hate tests. But like I said. you always do so well, so I don't think that you will have anything to worry about. Good luck though, and we will keep you in our prayers.
Hurray!! What a milestone! Congrats Meliss. That is so great. Good luck studying and I'll keep you in my prayers.
