Mike is getting his MBA with a specialization in Management from Florida Technical University. He started class two and a half weeks ago. Because the information is new to him (a major in Psychology doesn't exactly prepare you for a masters in business) he has been spending a lot of time at the Library studying. It sucks that he is gone from home so much, particularly since I am now home, but we are excited that he is getting his graduate degree. Mike has to take 12- 8 week courses. And this first course is jam packed with lots of reading. And just because it is online, it is not easy. They have a lot of reading, quizzes, projects, and discussions. It seems to be pretty interactive and the teacher seems to be really accessible (which we don't always see with classroom professors).

I joke around with him, saying that the only reason he is getting his masters is because I have mine - which is completely not why, but it is funny. Our poor kids are doomed with having parents that push for education.

Awesome. Good job Mike. I hope Nathan can do that one day.
Your kids are definitely not "doomed" they are very blessed! Congrats to Mike, I hope it goes well. Tell him not to study too much.
